This portrait was composed from about 7 different photos. For one thing Maddie, the dog, was afraid of the cats. So each animal was posed on the chair in a different position and combined into one seamless portrait.

The client wrote: "She LOVED IT! Absolutely LOVED IT! Liz, when I went to get her gift (It was wrapped and hidden behind some furniture) her eyes lit up and she said 'Oh, you got me a Bateman print!' I said "no, sorry...it's something else" She slowly opened it and had to turn it around to face her. She just stared at it...her eyes welled up with tears..and her voice cracked as she said "oh my...thats Lucy" (I don't know why she picked Lucy to describe, but she did) She had tears in her eyes..and was just amazed. She went from looking at it ... to looking at me ... She kept staring at it and basically asking how I got this. She then called her mom and couldn't even get the words out to her describing the present. Liz, it was the perfect gift. Every one who looks at it can't believe how amazing it looks..and how the gift came from the heart. They are right, it did. A lot of your heart in it as well. Its perfect. Amazing ... and takes more than its share of stares around our little house. It looks beautiful. I can't begin to thank you for the work you've done. It certainly made our Christmas. Thanks again."
