QUESTIONS
ABOUT THE PROCESS
Can
I see the portrait as it's being created?
Yes, you will have a private page on which I will post frequent
updates of your portrait as it is being created. You will see
it progress from sketch to finished portrait over time! You can
also make suggestions and comments at this time. To
view a sample page, click here.

What size
portrait should I commission? What sizes are available?
Any size portrait
is available. I recommend nothing smaller than 11"x14"
and that's pretty small. Portraits may be as large as you want.
Pastels and watercolors can be 48"x any length. Oils may
be any size.
If you are doing one subject, head
or head & shoulders, you can do 11"x14", but other
than that, I would recommend a larger portrait so that the beauty
of the art is visible. When I see the photos that you want to
use, I'll give you my suggestions for size.

How do you
decide what the layout should be?
You decide
what the layout will be - I will study the photos that you
send, draw up some ideas and put them together. Then I will EMAIL
the layouts to you or post them to the private page and you can
decide which one you like the best. If you don't like any of them,
I'll draw up some more.
