How to Commission a Fine Art Portrait

& layout
Send deposit

3 - Watch the portrait develop online (see sample page)

4 - Approve completed portrait
Send commission balance

5 - RECEIVE YOUR FINISHED PORTRAIT!!

PRICING

100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEED

After you approve the portrait layout or initial drawing, you send a fully refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed on commission price.

If you are not satisfied with your completed portrait, I will return your deposit. Compare this to other artists and you will find that very few will refund 100% of your initial deposit.

For local clients, final payment for a portrait is due when the portrait is picked up. For others, final payment is due prior to portrait shipment.

Payment may be made in cash, money order, check or you may use a credit card through PayPal. (Please do not send cash by mail.)

Your commission price will vary lower or higher depending on the degree of complexity of the portrait requested. Pricing is done on an individual basis these are only rough guidelines for an approximate cost. Please email or call me to discuss options.

PORTRAIT COMMISSION FEES

PEOPLE

Commission Fees for Full Oil on Canvas or Pastel Portrait approximately 12" x 16" start at about $400

16"x20" Portrait Commission Fee is about $650. Additional subjects, combining photos, etc add to the commission fee.

ANY SIZE PORTRAIT IS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST

ANIMALS

Animal Portrait commission fee for a pastel or an oil portrait approx. 11" x 14" is about $325

16" x 20" Portrait Commission Fee is about $550.

Mini-Portraits 4" x 6" are $125

Commission fees are higher for special portraits, such as animals in uniform or period clothing, or pub signs or portraits with wording.
