Liz van der Werff is a true colorist, bordering on impressionism. Her portraits are masterpieces of subtle color that does not show well on the internet. The images on this website DO NOT SHOW THE TRUE QUALITY of the portraits - to understand how much has been lost during the transfer to the internet, please read the customer's comments!
The close-up pictures are a bit better, but they are still not as good as the actual portraits are.

The majority of the photos were taken during November, but the house was painted as if it were summer. The arbor was scaled down so that it did not block the view of the home.
