Loving Mother & Son"My beautiful niece, Sheana, was killed last year as a result of a drunk driver. Her son, whom she adored, had just turned three years old...and this portrait is from the last photo taken of them before she died. Thank you Liz for all of your hard work, sensitivity, and communication during the process of creating this portrait. This was very personal for me, and difficult at times, but well worth it when I saw the expression and tears on her mother's face when I gave it to her.
